Melody is fortunate enough to have a multifaceted artistic career:
Melody Nicolette Pilotte is a light lyric coloratura soprano based out of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Making original music under the electronic music project Le Bas-fond, she is an expressive soprano, as well as singer, songwriter, producer, and engineer. While first and foremost a recording artist, she is also a composer, having credits in both film and theatre (Off-Broadway). She prides herself being self-produced, mixed and mastered, as well as engineering for other artists. She is a member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers, the American Guild of Musical Artists, and a BMI songwriter.
As a professional visual artist working under her given name, Melody's art work has been featured in magazines, calendars, children's books, and cds.
She holds a BA from SFSU in American Indian Studies, with an emphasis in constitutional law, environmental justice and religious freedom (cum laude). A non-status Indigenous renegade. OH WELL.
